We'd expected there to be some fantastic firework display going on in Brighton, as there as for any other occasion. And so Jono and Emma came down to celebrate with us. Unfortunately the firework display and the Burning of the Clocks parade was cancelled due to a lack of sponsor, and so we had to make our own entertainment. We went to Pyroman (a firework shop in Brighton) and bought some proper fireworks and let them off down on the beach. This turned out to be great fun, and we had a great view of fireworks going off all along the bay from Brighton round to Worthing. Shame it was so very cold though. (5 images.)
