At the end of August work announced a weekend in Zurich open to all employees. A good proportion took the opportunity and we all arrived in Zurich on the Friday and stayed around until mid afternoon on Sunday. We had some presentations on the Saturday, but the rest of the time was fun and frivolity.
Friday evening involved a traditional swiss evening (and lots of beer), and on Saturday evening we went to World of Movie for dinner, music and dancing until the early hours of the morning.
We had a guided walking tour of Zurich which is where most of the photos were taken, but also had a boat trip from Zurich to Freienbach (where our head office is). On Sunday we took a walk up to Uetliberg and had brunch at the Oto Kulm hotel before heading back to the airport for return flights.
I stayed in the Seedamm Plaza in Rapperswill. The hotel was large, modern and clean, and had a casino which I didn't visit, but I did make use of the hotel bar :-)
