The first event of the Brighton Festival 2003 was the Children's Parade. It seemed to be a good excuse for all the teachers and parents to dress up and dance around, and the kids kind of tagged along a bit.
The carnival atmosphere was helped by the music, DJ and dancers on the seafront.
