Jane's birthday weekend

A birthday and a bank holiday - what could be better?

I had Friday afternoon off to prepare for Saturday's birthday barbeque and so the weekend was a really long one.

The barbeque went well, and it was great to have so many friends around. I was so busy enjoying myself that I forgot to get the camera out, oh well.

On Sunday we hooked up with Jeremy and Kirsty and headed off to Ashdown Forest for a walk in the woods. The intention was to go and find Pooh Bridge but the navigator got the directions wrong. We managed to find lots of deer though and have a really peaceful wander.

On Monday Richard and I headed off to the British Wildlife Centre and spent a really pleasant couple of hours looking (and photographing) the animals.
