The launch of the first Nasa Mars mission has been delayed again. It was supposed to go on Sunday, but thunderclouds prevented it. Another attempt was going to be made yesterday but the threat of thunderstorms stopped it going. They’re hoping to get it off today.

Yesterday Beagle was successfully
Yesterday Beagle 2 was successfully launched from Baikonur and is now on it’s way with Mars Express to Mars. Footage of the launch is available courtesy of the European Space Agency.
My new lenses for
My new lenses for my G3 arrived today. I’ve bought a 2x telephoto lens (Kenko KNT 20) and a 0.72x wideangle lens (Raynox DCR 720), as well as a couple of Kenko lens adapters from The Filter Connection. Shame I haven’t got a G3 to put them on at the moment :-(, but hopefully it will be back at the end of the week.
